Refund Policy

30 days, one email, and no attempt to talk you out of it. This page explains how a refund works, how it sits alongside your statutory rights, and the few cases that work differently.

Last updated 7 November 2026

§ 1

30 days to change your mind

Write to us at any time up to 30 days after your course’s first live session and we refund the full fee. You don’t need to give a reason, and nobody will call to talk you out of it.

One email is enough. We would rather give your money back than keep it for a course that didn’t work for you.

§ 2

Your statutory right to cancel

As a consumer you also have the right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, to cancel within 14 days of the contract being made. This policy is in addition to that right and never reduces it: anyone cancelling inside the statutory period is also inside our 30-day window, so the refund is always in full.

§ 3

Before the first session

If you change your mind after paying but before your course’s first live session, email us and we refund the full fee. If you decide to stay, the 30-day window still begins with that first session.

§ 4

What happens when you email us

Send your request to [email protected] from the address you enrolled with. Name the course, and add a line about what fell short if you like — we read every one of those notes, and they change the next run of the course.

  • We acknowledge your email within one working day.
  • Within three working days we approve the refund and instruct our payment provider.
  • The money goes back to the original payment method, always within fourteen days of your email. Your bank may take a few more working days to show it.

§ 5

After the window closes

Once the 30-day window has passed, refunds are no longer automatic: by then the course is well under way and the tutor’s time has been given.

Even so, write to us if something serious has happened — an illness, a family emergency, or a course that plainly didn’t match its description. We usually settle it with a credit towards a later course, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply whatever the date.

§ 6

If we postpone or cancel a course

  • If we cancel a course, you get a full refund, however long ago you paid.
  • If we postpone a course, you can move to the new dates, switch to another course at the same price, or take a full refund.
  • If we cancel a single session, we reschedule it. That alone isn’t grounds for a refund.

§ 7

The fine print

  • Refunds are paid in pounds sterling to the original payment method. We can’t control currency conversion or any fees your bank charges.
  • If your employer paid, the refund goes back to your employer, not to you.
  • Once a refund is issued, your access to recordings, materials and the course repository ends.
  • Each person can have one refunded enrolment per course. You’re welcome to enrol again later, but the window doesn’t restart.
